We booked at the hotel's website, and therefore got free airport pickup wich was more than perfect. A very nice chauffeur awaited us with a namesign, and drowe us to the hotel (traffic in Istanbul is not for nervous people!). Our bags were taken to our room by a bell-boy, and since we were on our honeymoon, the hotel had placed us a very nice room with a balcony and free wine and fruit basket. The room was small, but clean and nicely decorated and the bed was large though not very soft. Breakfast was more than fine, a large selection of bread, cakes, cerials, cheese, olives, youghurt etc. Fresh orangejuice could be bought for 5 ytl, but we didn't try it. Location of hotel was perfect. No problems with noise, but right on the street leading to Aya Sofia, Topkapi and Blue Mosque. Quite a few shops on the street towards the harbour, where you can find better prices than in the Grand Bazar, if you are not the most experienced haggler. I can reccomend "Ida gift shop", wich is on the opposite side of the street from the hotel. When checking out, the staff were very helpfull with getting a taxi to the airport, and with storing our bags untill we had to leave for the airport (at 6 p.m.) All in all, this hotel was perfect for our honeymoon, and I can only reccomend it for others.

Perfect location within Sultanahmet, close to all main attractions ie Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Spice Market. Hotel itself is a little dated, but very nice & functional. Good rooms - request the suite if possible.
